Modern Metal & Refining Ltd (MMR), expertise in aluminum high pressure die-casting manufacturing, was established in Hong Kong in 1969. The Fung family has remained unchanged to own, to operate, and to dedicate in the industry by putting tireless efforts, allowing MMR to become one of the largest and fastest growing OEM manufacturers in the region. Management today, based in Hong Kong , stimulates business expansion by operating two major manufacturing plants in Duangguan of China. With over 72,000 square meters in total floor space, the company employs more than 2500 workers while over 200 of them are qualified engineers that the engineers focus on manufacturing development.

We offer a wide range of services including product and tool design, tooling design and fabrication, die-casting, secondary processing, precision CNC machining, chromating, surface finishing (wet painting, electro-static powder painting and e-coating), leak test, impregnation, and sub-assembly.

MMR enjoys latest technology, facilities, and measurement equipments in all of its operations. The factories have equipped with more than 55 sets of die-casting machines and 100 sets of CNC machining centers which are imported from Europe and Japan . The machines press range from 125 ton to 1,800 ton. Shop floors have built-in molding production rooms to prepare for in-house molding productions and to complete secondary operations, then to safeguard production orders. Measurement equipments like coordinate measuring machines, X-ray machines, optical tool pre-setters, functional gauges, salt spray test machines, spectro-analyzers, and Form Testers effectively facilitate a high standard inspection quality standard.
